Kia Prices Refreshed Soul From $22,595 in Canada

The Kia Soul is getting additional tech for 2023 including a new digital cluster layout and updates to its available driver assistance features. There Soul will also be refreshed with styling changes inside and out.

Kia's changes to the exterior are subtle, but the new headlights have more of a droop at the corners of the vehicle. The upper grille strip is slightly taller and Kia has moved its badge from the hood to inside the strip. The lower grille has new accenting and better integration of the driver-assist sensors. New taillights complete the look, while the Surf Blue paint colour is also new.

Inside, the 2023 Kia Soul has a new steering wheel design. It also borrows the same 4.2-inch digital cluster found in the 2023 Sportage. A new optional 10.25-inch infotainment system is available and is set into a new fascia design.

Rear Occupant Alert, a feature to help remind you if someone is left in the back seats, is now standard. Lane Follow Assist is now available, Kia has also added available blind spot collision assist. Navigation-based adaptive cruise control that can slow for highway curves is new, as is Highway Driving Assist which can adjust speeds to maintain posted limits.

Just one engine is offered again for 2023, a 2.0L four-cylinder with 147 hp. Kia says that it has made some ride and handling changes as well as cutting noise, vibration, and harshness with optimised sound-absorbing materials.

The 2023 Kia Soul starts from $22,595 plus destination, an increase of $1,300 from last year. Expect the crossover to hit dealers this summer.
