Mercedes-Benz 1966-2018Change

We bought one of these vehicles after my parents purchased one (dad is a mechanic) and absolutely loved it. We saved up and got one of our own. It is super comfortable for long distance trips and can hold a lot of gear for a family; without having to own a minivan.

I have travelled across Canada several times with this truck and its been awesome. Always had all my tools for any job and microwave for those long trips.

I have driven mine several times across Canada through the mountains with and without a trailer it was great. Always had all my tools & ladders with me. Microwave and sleeping bag. Great truck for always being prepared.

I purchased this vehicle in Oct 2016. This is my fifth Mercedes and I was anticipating an ownership experience similar to the previous Mercedes vehicles I have owned. Unfortunately this has not turned out to be the case. At the two week mark I noted an intermittent malfunction with the Bluetooth system. Shortly after that I noted a rattling noise in the vicinity of the steering column when driving on rough pavement. While the 2.0L 4 Cyl engine performs well enough, it burns more fuel than my previous vehicle's 3.5L 6 Cyl. To cap things off, in early December 2016 the vehicle sustained minor damage to the front passenger door when another vehicle backed into it in a parking lot. Due to the aluminium intensive construction, the repair bill was just under $5,000.00. I was told that had the same thing happened to my previous vehicle, the repair bill would have been under $2,000.00. Apparently you do not repair aluminium -- you replace it!! Altogether, a disappointing ownership experience. Exercise caution with this, or any other aluminum bodied vehicle.

Handles wonderfully on highways or twisty roads. This baby really grips the roads. A joy to drive with the top down (so easy to do) and in cooler climates the Air Scarf keeps you warm. Sound system excellent. Variable tranny is a snap. Smooth shifting, good braking. Well made car, as I would expect from this manufacturer.

Silky smooth best describes the ride of these head turning sports cars. Comfortable, powerful and road hugging. With the roof up or down the cab is surprisingly quiet. The fit and finish is far superior to any North American vehicle. If you're looking for a classy yet sporty vehicle you need to try driving a Mercedes SL550 and it will win you over quickly.

amazing performance comfort from a small compact SUV. I've had my GLA45 for the past 16 months, never had any problems with, performs really well in the wet and on snow, fits 5 adults for a short drive or 4 for a longer one. What else would you want from a small SUV? it even parks itself! Mercedes nailed it with this car, I'd definitely upgrade to a newer model when they release it.

Only maintained by Mercedes Benz. Has never given any problems besides a burnt license plate light bulb. AMAZING CAR.

Problem free. Impressive ride. It has been regularly maintained and has new tires. Premium sound, navigation, music hard drive, great Bluetooth integration make driving a pleasure.

We have had this car for 4 years and it has been nothing but a joy to have and that is why we have ordered another one. We vacation in Florida for the Winter and do not bring it with us, it stays stored until we get back in April.

This terrific 4 door family sedan is a beauty and a beast! From comfort city driving to sporty spirited highway runs. Anyone who hears this loud popping V8 knows its an AMG coming!

The car is beautiful, very stylish and comfortable. Handles beautifully and good on gas. The car has the reclining seats so it can make room luggage, groceries, skis.

Perfect for a growing family. Comfort and Reliable. Lots of space
in trunk for stuff (like hockey equipment).

This car is a dream. Tons of power, tons of technology and safety. I have been in one of these cars with a professional driver on a racetrack and was totally blown away!

After 15 years of owning and driving my SL320, its without a doubt the best car I've ever had. Still turns heads. The 320 is a 6 cylinder and gets an honest 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Never had a major failure of any kind. Very reliable.

This car is extremely comfortable and reliable. Great sound system, many useful features. Smooth drive is guaranteed.

From the second I stepped on the gas, I knew that this ride was different. I had never experienced such a smooth, stable, and luxurious ride. Quiet is an understatement. Its like riding on air but there is definite power in this baby. It handles responsively, the way you would expect in a German engineered vehicle. My family enjoyed the double panoramic sunroof, bluetooth phone link and the entertainment of surround sound speakers. The SUV was great for long trips. We could plug a cooler into the trunk area. It was easy to clean the leather interior.
The only downside of the vehicle would be the higher than average cost of repairs as you would expect from a Mercedes and the need for premium gas.
This vehicle is for someone who appreciates a better quality SUV.

This crossover 4-wheel-drive,will carry a total of 6 passenger, in safety, style, and comfort in all weather conditions.

Must see to truly appreciate this car. In excellent shape throughout, drives and handles beautifully. An honest, strong, well-cared vehicle!

Wow a car like this is something to behold. It keeps going with a bullet proof engine that keep performance and economy in order.
Fun to drive without skimping on the family sedan that it is.

I bought my 2002 C240 in 2010 with 128,000 KM and recently sold it with 260,000. The car was pretty exceptional, to be honest. It looks great, handles great (I'm more about the cornering than straight line speed), and is decently quick.

Slows down after 220,000 KM's.

WATCH THE RUST!!! It's REALLY BAD! RUST CHECK EVERY YEAR!

Can't stress this enough. I didn't rust check/proof it and within 3 years it looked so bad, now it's just a rust bucket. I should have rust checked but apparently this year/model had something to do with Mercedes buying steel from China. Or so I was told.

Other than that, I did a tune up at 200,000 which helped, regular oil changes and maintenance, breaks at about 245,000, and changed a few control arms/stabiliser links - primarily because I beat it up through corners all the time :) Couldn't help it!!

If you find one in good condition and treat her right, great car!

Wow what a car must drive power like a supper car at a quarter of the price. And what we’ll miss most is AMG’s big, naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-8, which has already been supplanted in most of the AMG lineup by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8. What the 6.2 gives up in torque to the force-fed 5.5, it makes up for with its sound and its willingness to rev. It responds instantly, celebrates every combustion explosion through its brash exhaust, and makes us feel as if we’re getting the most out of every drop of premium, even as it does consume a monsoon of fuel. We were able to go only 16 miles on a gallon

As far as Hard Top Convertibles go the SLK 350 is certainly the best in its class. Wow is all I can say!! Absolutely all the power, comfort, plus speed/control you can ever ask for.
