Kia Spectra5 2004-2012Change

Love this car but two growing boys are getting to big for this car
heartbroken it has to go.Been the best car I have owned,had it from new and had no issues ever on it had to do some maintence but has done everything that i have needed until we grew out of it. Amazing in the snow can get around everywhere,and amazing handling going around tight corners and windy roads

Previous to this car I owned a Honda Civic hatchback, which I loved. I found this Kia to be just as reliable and worthy of praise as that Civic; the major difference between the two was the price. A comparable 2007 Honda Fit would have cost me more than $10,000 (up to $16,000 around here). For the cost, this Kia is a bargain.

cool little car , good fuel economy, tend to rust under latches, lights blow out quickly, speaker could be alot better, tend to blow with very little effort

This car is for owners who have a lot a money to give in repairs! She have trouble with getting faster quick . its a good one for family confort even in long travels because of her large places .. But if you own this , the car will go so many time in garage for differents reasons .

This is our 3rd Kia and we've had no bad experiences with any of our cars. It is cheap on gas and is a 5 speed so it feels very sporty to drive.

a bit more expensive in gas that i've expected, but confort and style are nice. overall i pretty much like my car

Tramision troubles from the get go, but i think that was from the previous owner. other than that fine little econo car. good on gas

We purchased a used Kia Spectra in 2009 and have been generally very happy with it.

The good stuff:
- good on gas
- very responsive, easy to drive, even in the winter
- fair sized interior
- we have the hatchback model, so easy to transport items.

The not so good stuff:
- small trunk space
- the seatbelt design is strange, and the belts often feel very uncomfortable
- expensive repairs. It doesn't break often, but when it does the repairs are complicated and expensive.

Overall, it has been a good buy!
