Dodge Dakota 2006Change

i bought my Dodge Dakota used. It had a few dings and scrapes but it as never ailed anything. I have ran it year round on gravel roads and I have yet to have a single complaint. Definitely would buy this model again, new or used.

ive never had a problem withthis truck in the 3 years i have had it. it's 100% reliable and ive never been happier with a vehicle!

Good performing engine, vehicle is wider and more comfortable than Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier-these were too cramped.So far this vehicle has driven well,good cargo capacity with 6.4 ft bed , good on fuel used-and should be better with new E3 plugs,Cleaned MAP sensor, New Air Filter and Fuel injector cleaner every 5-8 mths. The Cold Air Ram Air Filters are good for increasing engine power but not for fuel economy under normal & highway driving conditions.

Excellent Vehicle. Never a problem with this truck. Love it but too small for my family. really hate to part with it, but need soemthing more practical. Good truck for anyone thinking of purchasing for a teenager for a gift.

Looks great has the power you need , with an extended cab roomy for passengers. In rain or snow the big problem is the Magnum 8 engine the power is too much. losses traction at almost every light

its been reliable and has gotten me from point a to point b for a number of years.
I recently had the breaks done but that afters the only major repair i had to have done the whole entire time that i have owned it. I have had a few occasions where the truck shakes at high speeds and the breaks sqeek alot but i have been told that these trucks are notorious for these qualities. this is the first vehicle i have owned and my next vehicle will be a truck from dodge but bigger, better and newer!!!!!!!!!!!! Trucks are awsome!!!!!!!

I have over the years owned several pick up trucks. When it came time to replace my 2000 Dakota I decided to stick with the Dakota line and purchase a new 2006. In hind site a mistake! The interior is all plastic, not the best fit and finish by a long shot and the seats are very uncomfortable and stain very easily. I purchased what Chyrsler claimed was a 5 seater, good luck getting 3 in the Club Cab! I removed the rear jump seats as the are basically useless.As for realiability, it has been very reliable with only minor repairs. After 6 years and only 78000 km's I have little to complain about. Fuel mileage is good on the highway but in town it is not ideal. So in hind site for the price I paid, I should have bought a full size pick up! The Dakota if brought back by Ram needs major improvement.
